Biography

Zoran Sotirov is an opera singer, born in 1970 in Skopje. He graduated from the Faculty of Music Arts in Skopje, at the University St. Cyril and Methodius, in the class of Professor Blagoja Nikolovski. He continued his education in Belgrade – Serbia, in the class of Professor Biserka Cvejikj and in Zagreb – Croatia, with Professor Stojan Stojanov Ganchev. He debuted in 1999 as Rodolfo in “La Bohѐme” at the May Opera Evenings. He has a rich repertoire that includes the roles of: Edgardo in Lucia Di Lammermoor, Cavaradossi in Tosca, Turidu in Cavalleria Rusticana, Don Jose in Carmen, Alfred Germont – La Traviata, Ismail – Nabucco, Pinkerton – Madame Butterfly, The Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto, Radames in Aida, Alvaro in The Power of Destiny, Faust – Faust and other roles.
