Biography

 She graduated from the "M. Lysenko" Music academy in Lvov, Ukraine. In 2000, she moved to Italy where she studied under Raina Kabaivanska at the Academy in Osimo and at the "Kidzhana" Academy in Siena. She has won awards from the "Coradetti", "Ottavio Ziino", "Tagliavini" and "Viotti" contests. 

Sofia Soloviy is a lead singer at the Lvov national opera, Teatro Real in Madrid, the Rome Opera, La Fenice in Venice, the Valognia King's opera, Teatro "San Carlo" in Naples, the "Queen Sofia" arts centre in Valencia, the opera theaters in Padua, Bergamot, Modena, Reggio Emilia, Osimo, Martina Franca, Klagenfurt etc. 

Her repertoire includes: "Alcina" by Handel, Donna Elvira and Donna Anna in "Don Juan", Elektra in "Idomeneus" and Vitellia in "The Mercy of Titus" by Mozart; Giovana Seimur in "Ana Bolena" by Donizetti, "Manon Lescaut" by Puccini, Neda in "Pagliacci" by Leoncavallo, Lucrecia Contarini in "The Two Foscari", Elena in "La Forza del Destino", Amalia in "Masnadieri" and "Messa da Requiem" by Verdi, "Alceste" by Gluck, "Salome" by Strauss, "Stabat Mater" by Pergolesi.
