Biography
Born in Novara in 1979. His career as a director started as an assistant to Beppe De Tomasi supporting him in the most prestigious theaters in the world with the biggest opera names. In 2004 he became assistant to Luciano Pavarotti in the production of “La bohème” by G. Puccini at the “Teatro della Fortuna” of Fano. At Italian and foreign theaters, he has to his credit directing over one hundred operas and forty-seven debuted titles such as “Teatro Regio di Parma”, “Municipal Theater of Piacenza”, “Massimo Bellini Theater” of Catania, “Coccia Theater” of Novara, “Pavarotti Theater” of Modena, “Verdi Theater” of Pisa, “Goldoni Theater” of Livorno, the festivals “July Music Festival” in Trapanese, “Social Theater of Mantua”, “Vittorio Emanuele Theater” of Messina, “Cilea Theater” of Reggio Calabria, “Ventidio Basso Theater” of Ascoli Piceno, “Bonci Theater” of Cesena. There were international projects such as directing at the “Istanbul State Opera”, in Bilbao, in Las Palmas. He took part in many festivals such as: “Florence Opera Festival”, “Massa Marittima Opera” at the square, “Sarzana allo Spiros Argiris” and Chiusi at the “Orizzonti Festival”.
He was collaborating director with Renata Scotto for the opera “Madama Butterfly” by G. Puccini and with Renato Bruson for the opera “Falstaff” by G. Verdi.
