Biography
Pamela Pandova-Baneva was born in Sofia. She began her professional education at the National School of Dance Art (NSDA) in 2004 as student of Rumyana Atanasova. During the years of her education, she took part in ballet competitions and international festivals in Paris, Grasse, Madrid and Sinaia. She participated in spectacles of the Sofia Opera and Ballet. In 2013 she graduated from the NSDA as student of the prima ballerina Milena Simeonova. In the same year, she joined the troupe of the Sofia Opera and Ballet as artist-ballerina.
Awards:
2006 – Finalist at the Le Chausson d’Or Competition – Paris;
2008 – Distinction Second Class at Concours International de Dance Classic de Grasse;
2009 and 2011 – she was awarded two Second prizes at the Little Stars International Ballet Competition – Sofia;
2010 – she represented the NSDA at the International Festival with competitive character in Sinaia, where she was awarded Second Prize;
2011 – she represented the NSDA at the International Dance Festival in Madrid.
2012 – Distinction First Class Junior Age and 1-year scholarship for high achievements in the ballet art from the Ministry of Culture at the Anastas Petrov National Ballet Competition.
