Biography
Jeonghyeok (Carlo) Seo was born in Uiseong in South Korea in 1985. He studied at the Yeungnam University where he obtained his Master's Degree.
In 2017 he moved to Italy to attend the two-year lyric singing courses at the "G. Verdi" Music Conservatory in Milan. He completed the master class of "vocal technique and interpretation of repertoire" in Modena with Raina Kavavanska and he also completed the master class of Bulgarian University Raina Kabaivanska as a scholarship student.
He won the Third Prize at the "Fausto Ricci" Competition in Viterbo in 2017 and the Third Prize at the "Anita Cerquetti" Competition in Montecosaro in 2018.
He made his debut in the roles of Belcore of L'elisir d'amore, Conte di Luna of Il Trovatore, Malatesta of Don Pasquale, Marcello of La Bohème, Falke of Die Fledermaus, Silvio of Pagliacci, Father of Hansel and Gretel, Conte di Robinson of Il matrimonio di segreto
