Biography
Arianna Cimolin, after her graduation at the Conservatorio "Benedetto Marcello" in Venice,continued to study with Raina Kabaivanska at the "Vecchi-Tonelli" Institute in Modena.
She also studied with Anna Pirozzi, Federico Longhi, Giovanna Casolla and ManuelaMeneghello.
Recently she has won several international competitions, such as "Voci Mascagnane" inLivorno, "E. Sordello" in Cuneo and "Vincenzo Bellini" in Vendome (France).
In December 2021 she has debuted the role of Mimì in "La Boheme" by Giacomo Puccini inNaples during the Festival Barbaja inauguration.
In December 2019 she has debuted the role of Rita in the homonymous opera by GaetanoDonizetti and the role of Lauretta in "Gianni Schicchi" by Giacomo Puccini at TeatroComunale "Mario del Monaco" in Treviso directed by Alfredo Corno and conducted byFabrizio Da Ros.
In August 2020 and in 2018 she has debuted the role of Annina in "La Traviata" byGiuseppe Verdi at several Italian theatres, such as Teatro Comunale in Ferrara, TeatroComunale in Treviso, Teatro Sociale in Rovigo directed by Alessio Pizzech and conducted byFrancesco Omassini and Alexander Hall in Cortina.
In December 2017 she has debuted the role of Sandrina in "La Cecchina" by Piccinni atTeatro Comunale di Treviso and in April 2017, the role of Matilde in "Giulietta e Romeo" byZingarelli at Teatro Malibran in Venice.
After her diploma, she furthered her training at "Accademia Verdiana" at Teatro Regio inParma.
In addition to the opera activity, Arianna has performed in various sacred, chamber andcontemporary concerts in Italy and in the world. She has represented the Venetian regionat the Astana Expo in Kazakistan.
In June 2016 she has performed as a soloist in "Petite Messe Solennelle" by GioacchinoRossini at Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza.
