In honor of Konstantin Iliev

During the new 2024/2025 season, on the 9^th of October, the first act of the opera “The Boyana Master” will be performed at the Sofia Opera, as part of the night dedicated to the great composer Konstantin Iliev, under the conductorship of Zhorzh Dimitrov. Performing artists include Emil Pavlov, Ventseslav Anastasov, Biser Georgiev and Tsveta Sarambelieva taking on the major roles; also performing are the Sofia Opera orchestra and choir, with Violeta Dimitrova as the choir conductor.

A string quartet with members Anastasia Detistova-Abadzhieva (violin), Ivan Staykov (violin), Penka Dzheneva (viola) and Hristo Ivanov (violoncello) will perform Quartet №1.
