ACT I
Lenor and Tar are getting ready for a wedding. But Tar is hesitant, obsessed with the chimerical image of the Black Rose, which has taken over his mind. He abandons everything and leaves after his dream.
Lenor is left alone with her Angel. She resists what fate has ordained for her. Overwhelmed, she seeks solace in free life, indulging in lust. In a bar, she meets the Men in Gray, Heta and the Cleaner. The Аngel wants to protect her, but Lenor tries to remove him, blaming him for what happened to her… and killing him…
The path of Tar. Street-carnival
The street carries people out into the general carnival stream, turning them into a faceless mass. Tar rushes into the street, truly believing in the reality of his dream. He pursues it stubbornly, despite the prejudices and misunderstandings of the crowd. In search of the Black Rose, he sees her image everywhere, in the faces of all sorts of women he meets. Such is his fleeting relationship with Eta – a passionate but short-lived passion.
His way is blocked by the Cleaner. Is this Death ... Tar is forced into battle: to overcome the aggression and disagreement, to prove himself. For all the extremes of the events, Tar suddenly encounters the Black Rose, as he imagines it. She is real, beautiful, alive. But the street engulfs her again. Winged, Tar realizes that he has to fight the crowd, gain the upper hand over it and really touch his dream, to have it. Tar manages to subdue the street.
ACT II
A Bar
Tar is alone. Victory did not bring him love. Through the street tango, he finds himself in the Bar – the possessions of the many-sided Cleaner. This time in the image of Heta, surrounded by his entourage – Men in gray, he gathers people's souls …
Heta tries to attract Tar and brutally seduces him ... Lenor enters the bar, demonstrating her new love affair with the underground boss Vu.
Unexpectedly, the Black Rose appears, accompanied by the Angel. Tar is astonished, she is different, provocative, in complete contradiction with the image he has built himself. Irrespective of all that, Tar follows her. She drags him into the roulette wheel of life, forcing him to play va banque. The Cleaner seeks to conquer his soul, and the Black Rose fights for his salvation.
A teahouse
Tar is confused and divided – he struggles with his idea of Love and the real woman in front of him, which with the strength of her character and desires leads him to collapse. His despair is an occasion to be taken by the Cleaner to a place where he can take stock of his life in solitude. In the opium delirium of the teahouse, images emerge, overflowing from a beautiful revelation to a nightmare.
The Aangel gives him the opportunity to fight with himself, to make the choice of his life. In front of him – in single combat – are the Black Rose and Lenor. Tar accepts the purity of the Black Rose, giving her his full love.

Epilogue
The funeral procession turns into a wedding for Lenor and Vu. On the table on which Tar is laid, the crowd feasts wildly.
Suddenly the Angel rises above them all, and they flee in terror.
The Angel makes the Black Rose a reality to breathe new life into Tar.
The Black Rose and Tar intertwine together in the Tango of life. The Angel and the Cleaner meet in silent single combat. After them remains a feather, a symbol of Passion, Love, Eternity…
