The applauses of the audience were resounding long time in the fairy night of 26 June at Lake Pancharevo.
In the mirror of the lake magical colours of the sunset were fusing in one whole with the fairy stage, with the songs and the dances of the immortal musical "МАММА МIA!", created by the Sofia Opera and Ballet in the magical production of the stage director Plamen Kartaloff.
The inspiration of the artists from this new challenge imported new blood in the well-known and loved romantic comedy.

This real fusion of the stage with the lake, with the enchantment of the fairy atmosphere under the starry sky, of the water was as if charging them with new and new energy. Here the romantic of love, the passions of the characters were breaking out with a high degree, the known comic situations evoked spontaneous reaction of the audience. The entire artistic cast was holding the rhythm of the spectacle in such a way that there was not a single moment not to hold the attention of the audience.
The applauses didn’t die away for long in the late night, as if nobody wanted to part from this magic, the magic which charms, fills in the soul with exaltation and joy.
This opening of the programme "MUSES OF WATER" (26 June – 2 August), born out of the imagination of the Director of the Sofia Opera and Ballet Acad. Plamen Kartaloff, was made possible through the union of efforts and the partnership with the Mayor of Pancharevo Region, in the person of Mr. Nikolay Gyurov, the owner of the site Mr. Georgi Spasov and other organizations.
At the opening were present the Vice President of the Republic of Bulgaria Mrs. Iliana Iotova, the Deputy Mayor of Sofia Assoc. Prof. Dr. Todor Chobanov, the Deputy Minister of Culture Mrs. Amelia Gesheva.
