On Saturday evening, 28 October, the mezzo-soprano Anna Werle will take on the role of La Cenerentola in Rossini's opera of the same name.

Quickly developing into dramatic repertoire such as Wagner's Brangäne and Fricka, her repertoire also spans the Baroque, from Rossini to Wagner, as well as contemporary operas by Henze and Benjamin. Anna Werle studied singing at the University of Arts in her hometown Berlin. She has won numerous competitions including the Bellini Competition and the International Concert Competition of VdKC and has been finalist in the Montserrat Caballé, Richard Strauss and Marie Kraja competitions.

Besides her, Hrisimir Damyanov, Ilya Silchukou, Nikolay Petrov, Anton Andreev, Milena Gyurova, Blagovesta Mekki-Tsvetkova take part. The conductor is Zhorzh Dimitrov and the director is Vera Petrova.
