Olya Al-Ahmed Author in Fakti.bg The young singer Stefani Krasteva will be Tatiana in the opera "Eugene Onegin" on 14 August at Lake Pancharevo. One of her greatest dreams is to perform the role of Tatiana.
On 14 August at 20 h at the festival "Muses of Water" will be presented the opera "Eugene Onegin" by Pyotr Tchaikovsky.
The Summer festival "Muses of Water" – Lake Pancharevo is realized with the support of Sofia Municipality – Calendar of the Cultural Events 2022 and under the patronage of the Mayor of Sofia Municipality Mrs. Yordanka Fandakova within the programme "OPERA IN THE PARK".
On 14 August the young soprano Stefani Krasteva will perform the role of Tatiana from the opera "Eugene Onegin" by Pyotr Tchaikovsky. In the other roles are Atanas Mladenov (Eugene Onegin), Hrisimir Damyanov (Vladimir Lensky), Alexandrina Stoyanova (Larina), Vesela Yaneva (for the first time in the role of Olga), Angel Hristov (Prince Gremin), Dimitar Stanchev (Zaretsky) and Nikolay Voynov (Company Commander). Rumyana Petrova (Filippyevna), Krasimir Dinev (Triquet).
In the production team are the conductor – Andrey Galanov, director – Vera Petrova, musical and stylistic staging – Larisa Gergieva, chorus master – Violeta Dimitrova.
In an interview, Stefani Kristeva points out that she loves to dream. One of her greatest dreams is to perform the role of Tatiana from the opera "Eugene Onegin". In the character of Tatiana she sees the most valuable human quality – kindness. The singer thanks God for the talent he has given her and for the strength and perseverance he gives her to develop it.
Stefani Krasteva was born in Varna. She graduated from the National School of Arts "Dobri Hristov" in Varna with a degree in Classical Singing. In 2017 she graduated with a Master's degree at the vocal faculty of the National Academy of Music in the class of classical singing of Assoc. Prof. Ivanka Ninova and in the acting class of acad. Plamen Kartaloff.
She participated in the opera "Bastien und Bastienne" by W.А. Mozart as Bastien, "Suor Angelica" by G. Puccini, as Dolcina, as well as in the children's operas "Little Red Riding Hood" as Little Red Riding Hood and "The Cat in the Hat" as the Princess.
The singer is a laureate of the First International Competition "Art Stars" – Varna. Laureate in the "Festival of Russian Classical and Contemporary Romance – Balkanskaya Romansiada", participation in the finals of the competition in Moscow, as well as a professional recording in the first studio of the Bulgarian National Radio. Winner of the International Youth Festival "Slavic Bell" – First Prize.
In 2016 she took part in the festival "March Music Days" in Ruse with the work of Lazar Nikolov "Metamorphoses" – conductor Dragomir Yosifov.
She has participated in a number of concerts with the Varna Philharmonic, the Vidin Philharmonic, the Sofia Symphony and the Vratsa Philharmonic.
In November 2017 she made her debut on the stage of Ruse Opera in the role of Gilda from "Rigoletto" with conductor Georgi Dimitrov.
She participated in the master classes of Kaludi Kaludov, Stefka Evstatieva and Luciana D`Intino, Anette Goeres.
In the autumn of 2017, she was among the participants in the master class of the world-famous soprano Krassimira Stoyanova, which is part of the Apollonia Festival of Arts. In November 2018, she won the "With Efforts to the Stars" scholarship provided by the foundation "Cultural Perspectives". Her mentor is Krassimira Stoyanova.
Stefani Krasteva received a nomination for Young Musician of the Year 2021 from the Bulgarian National Radio.
In February 2019, she made her debut on the stage of the Sofia National Opera and Ballet in the role of Tatiana from Tchaikovsky's "Eugene Onegin". On the same stage, she performed the role of Christiania from Marin Goleminov's opera "Zachary the Painter".
