The Sofia Opera continues its policy to cultivate the young audience. The stage director Yulia Krasteva shared: “We shall perform for the 12^th year in the park of the Academy of Defence. For the first time “Concerts for Babies” will be presented in the open air. The accent this year is the celebration of the 80^th Anniversary of the composer Georgi Kostov with the spectacles “Shegobishko on the Wonder Island” and “A story with Ducks, Mecho and Lisa”.

Opera in the park of the G.S. Rakovski Academy of Defence is realized with the support of Sofia Municipality – Calendar of the cultural events for 2021 and under the patronage of the Mayor of Sofia Municipality.

The festival will be opened on 19 June at 11 h with the opera “The Three Piggies”. Then follow: “Little Red Riding Hood”, “Winnie-the-Pooh”, “Concerts for Babies”, “A story with Ducks, Mecho and Lisa”.
