On the background of the lake in Pancharevo, Rhine daughters, Gods, Giants and Nibelungs will tell a magic fairy-tale.
The natural sets of the romantic lake mirror give a new vision of the production by the stage director Plamen Kartaloff and the set designer Nikolay Panayotov – with exceptional Bulgarian artists and the orchestra of the Sofia Opera.
Conductor is Erich Wächter.

The original stage realization of water reveals with new glitter and concept the chosen by the stage director unusual place for the spectacle, and also for the whole cycle of the opera and ballet festival evenings.
Thousands of spectators from all over the world, who were present at “DAS RHEINGOLD” in the halls of the Sofia Opera, Bolshoi Theatre and in the Bavaria festival theatre in Füssen, Germany, gave highest esteem for the Bulgarian interpretation of Richard Wagner’s masterpiece.
