On 20 May, will be handed out the Golden Feather distinctions, which are awarded by Cantus Firmus and Makta Gallery, in partnership with Classic FM, each year for outstanding contribution to Bulgarian culture and art, Cantus Firmus reports.

On the occasion of 24 May, the merits of bright personalities who have left their mark on our literature, theatre, music, fine arts, cinema, journalism will be honoured. The tradition has a 27-year history. The badge of honour is an exquisite brooch made of 24-carat gold.

Among the winners this year are the film director Viktor Bozhinov, the choreographer Boryana Sechanova, the composer Kiril Donchev, the actress Ginka Stancheva, the opera singer Ventseslav Anastasov, the folk singer Valya Balkanska, the prima ballerina Silvia Tomova, the sculptor Krum Damyanov and many other famous artists.

Traditionally, the listeners of "Classic FM" have the opportunity to participate in determining one of the winners. Until 18 May 2022, they can submit their proposals in the registration form on the radio's website. The vote of the audience will be announced at the ceremony.
