Roald Dahl’s bestseller “Matilda” performed for the first time in Bulgaria.

This night, the performance came to life at the Sofia Opera.

The musical tells the story of an unordinary girl who dares to oppose the hardships before her and to change her own destiny. The impressive vocals and the talented artists ensemble consisting of thirty-eight children touch viewers of all ages. Initially set by the Royal Shakespeare company, the musical quickly gained international recognition, conquering the West End and Broadway stages and winning a “Tony” award. The Sofia audience will have the opportunity to enjoy the musical until the 6^th of April.
