The festival will open on the 26^th of June with the premiere of the opera “Tannhauser”

This is the ninth Wagner’s opera director Plamen Kartaloff will set on the Sofia Opera stage. As per tradition, the “Der Ring des Nibelungen” tetralogy will also be performed.
