“I have met the ballet since I was very little. I even don’t remember, my mother told me, but what I remember, is that I was really dancing hours long, said Sara-Nora Krysteva, Director of the ballet of the National Opera and Ballet in an interview for the broadcast “Horizont for you” of the Bulgarian National Radio.
“Yes, a difficult, but a very good profession, I must tell you that I don’t regret at all that I have dedicated myself to this art. It really makes one’s life a fairy-tale! And along with this profession I respect very much the discipline, I respect very much the work of the others. These are things, which later help very much in real life”, told she.
The past year Sara-Nora Krysteva described as: “Very successful, in general the entire past season – with the premiere of “Le corsaire”, with our guest-performances at the Bolshoi Theatre, after that our whole Opera was in Japan. One really beneficial year with full halls. So that I wish myself really full halls.”
Her expectations for 2019 are: “Still tomorrow and the day after tomorrow we have last two “Nutcrackers” for the season, after that the next accents are on 3 February – we are making again a celebration of the great Bulgarian ballerina Krasimira Koldamova.”
