Nadezhda Women’s Health Hospital in the Ovcha Kupel Sofia Region is 6-year old since its foundation as medical institute, in which through invitro the young family couples are made happy with a long-awaited child, for the young mothers are provided most-modern conditions for unproblematic motherhood and all future mothers in need receive the desired cares, the necessary consultations and a timely prevention.
On 18 January 2019 are 5 years, since at the Sofia Opera and Ballet have been given weekly the expected with great interest “spectacles for babies”, in which the youngest artists of our first opera theatre with full devotion, with conquering inspiration and charming emotionality are amusing the little children at the age from 0 to 3. For the purpose was prepared a special hall, in which the children, the grand-mothers and the grand-fathers of the kids are settled in a cosy and attractive ambience, filled in with decorative pillows, toys and suitable decoration.
Maestro Plamen Kartaloff, after whose idea were realized the spectacles for babies and for children at the age from 3 to 10, has many times shared in front of our cultural society that through these attractive spectacles the Sofia Opera trains its loyal future audience.
As a joint project, on 13 January 2019, in the specially prepared with attractive decoration hall of Nadezhda Women’s Health Hospital, a dozen of young artists from the Sofia Opera gave a unique spectacle for the babies and their children. The spectacle was visited by dozens of families, who will never forget the joyous experience, realized by the organizers from Nadezhda Women’s Health Hospital and the Sofia Opera. Since the very beginning, with the first unforgettable songs for children and favourite melodies, the performers lead on the stage the excited kids and together with them they sang, danced and improvised surprising etudes.
During the spectacle, as well as after the bravura finale, the hosts of this celebration were offering the guests tasty snacks and desserts, various fruit drinks and the dreamed of by the children balloons and souvenir toys. Incredible as it is, the offered huge jubilee cake was enough for all attending people and what is more important and indicative, the little participants in this unforgettable event continued long after to sing the refrain and dance the songs and the melodies, which they have just now learnt from their favourite artists.
This humane act, a fruit of the joint efforts of the Nadezhda Women’s Health Hospital and the Sofia Opera deserves the highest estimation and recognition, regarding the necessary continuation of the wonderful initiative in future similar artistic meetings. The effect of the magical music art on the growing up and their parents deserves a full institutional and social support, which should engage the responsible state institution and a number of legal entities and companies, in order to make possible the presence of the opera artists and musicians also in other hospital and humanitarian institutions. This way the music art still more efficiently and impressively will contribute to the treatment and the development of the more and more popular music health therapy in the environment of our national healthcare. Let’s wish this appeal reaches more interested parties! The Sofia Opera and Nadezhda Women’s Health Hospital have already set the beginning of this noble gesture.
