The one-man show has toured since 2015 the world stages, and the tickets for it are being sold for several hours.
Stage director of the spectacle is Alvis Hermanis. The sets of the performance seem like a fascinating winter garden, in which Baryshnikov recites verses by his friend the Nobel Prize winner Joseph Brodsky, with whom they went through the emigrant years in the USA. Mikhail transfers in a unique way with voice and plastic movements Brodsky’s poetry.
The spectacle will be performed in Russian with supertitles in Bulgarian and its duration is one hour and thirty minutes.
The name of Mikhail Baryshnikov is cited alongside these of Rudolf Nureyev and Vladimir Vasiliev as one of the greatest ballet dancers in the history.
