The famous Spanish tenor José Carreras has chosen the Orchestra of the Sofia Opera and Ballet for his concert on 11 May in the Arena Armeec Hall, informed us the organizers from the Art BG producer company.

The Maestro has fixed on the cast among several proposals by the organizers because of its enormous experience with opera music not only in Bulgaria, but also from the guest-performances all over the world. The formation of 67 musicians knows excellently the greatest part of the classical arias, which Carreras will perform in Sofia in Spring next year. The orchestra will study also other scores, which Carreras’ team will send soon, noted from Art BG.

The grandiose spectacle, with a team of over 120 people, will be a farewell of the maestro with the Bulgarian audience – with all unforgettable arias, which have turned into a symbol of several decades. The concert is also the last for the Balkan Peninsula.

The benefit performance of José Carreras will conduct the respected Spanish conductor David Jimenez. We expect soon to be announced also more gust-musicians for the concert on 11 May in the Arena Armeec Hall.

Tickets for Bulgaria, Macedonia and Romania at the prices of BGN 50 to 110 and VIP seats at the price of BGN 180 are available in the network of Eventim and online.
