The Albanian soprano, Ramona Tullumani, received on Sunday evening a standing ovation from the audience in Sofia’s state Opera House.
The celebrated soprano has successfully performed the role of Violetta in Verdi’s “La Traviata” for the Bulgarian audience receiving many accolades. To Tullumani, it was her fourth appearance in one of Giuseppe Verdi’s master pieces to win the hearts of Bulgarian audience with her truly magnificent voice and on-stage intense dramatic persona.
They enjoyed for around 3 hours the wonderful sounds of Verdi masterfully coordinated with the voice of Albanian soprano and other lyrical singers.
The hall of Opera and Ballet Theatre filled to capacity broke into a thunderous applause after each aria and at the end of each act.
Immensely happy on stage, happy with the glitter and applause. It was a great pleasure to hear outstanding personalities of classical music describe an Albanian singer as the favourite Violetta of Sofia Opera.
