On 14 October, at 19:00 h, the brilliant soloist of the Sofia Opera – the soprano Radostina Nikolaeva, will enter into the role of Norma from Bellini’s opera of the same name. The singer developed the important and memorable role from the world repertoire – Isolde in “Tristan und Isolde” by Richard Wagner. Her last role of Kundry from Wagner’s opera “Parsifal” evoked the applauses of the audience. The professional path of Nikolaeva started from her hometown Ruse. In 1998, she debuted in the role of Donna Elvira from Mozart’s opera “Don Giovanni”. After that in her repertoire entered the roles of Violetta from “La traviata”, Elisabeth of Valois from “Don Carlos” and Aida from Verdi’s eponymous opera.
After her memorable debuts on the Sofia stage in the roles of Liu from “Turandot”, Leonora from “Il trovatore” and Amelia from “Un ballo in maschera” by Verdi, she added to her rich repertoire the roles of Desdemona from “Otello”, Odabela from “Attila” by Verdi, Mimi from “La bohème”, Manon Lescaut and Tosca from the eponymous operas by Puccini, Neda from “Pagliacci” by Leoncavallo, Santuza from “Cavalleria rusticana “by Mascagni, Anna Bolena from Donizetti’s eponymous opera, Donna Anna from “Don Giovanni“ by Mozart, Maria from “Tsar Kaloyan” by Vladigerov, Kosara from the eponymous opera by Maestro Atanasov, Dido from “Dido and Aeneas” by Purcell, Zemfira from “Aleko” by Rahmaninov, Yaroslavna from “Prince Igor” by Borodin and others.
Radostina Nikolaeva has guest-performances in Bulgaria and abroad with incredible success and the musical critique defines her as an actress and a singer with exceptional drama and vocal abilities.
