On 15 October, at 17 h, at the Sofia Opera and Ballet will take place the famous spectacle of Masha Ilieva’s Ballet School “A lesson in Baroque”. In the spectacle will take part children from the school of the prima ballerina Masha Ilieva, together with the Sinfonietta Sofia Orchestra. The spectacle transports with music, dances and costumes the spectators into the world of Baroque in Europe and shows to the little admirers of ballet the big world of European art. Masha Ilieva is a Bulgarian prima ballerina, choreographer and pedagogue. She is among the brightest names in the modern Bulgarian ballet. As prima ballerina of the Sofia Opera, she has danced all main roles in “Swan Lake”, “Giselle”, “The Nutcracker”, “Don Quixote” and many others.
