A soloist of the Bucharest National Opera House since 2006, Marius Boloş is a graduate of the University in Oradea, having specialized in both Music and Theology. He also attended master classes held by bass Ionel Perlea, soprano Nelly Miricioiu, mezzo-soprano Viorica Cortez, soprano Mariana Nicolesco and soprano Leontina Văduva. In 2006, he was a scholar of the Opera Studio within the National Opera in Budapest and he took private singing lessons with maestro Pompeiu Hărăşteanu.

Marius Boloş made his debut at the Romanian National Opera in Cluj-Napoca in 2004, with the role of Il Commendatore in “Don Giovanni” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. In July 2005, he was a finalist of the “Hariclea Darclée” International Singing Competition in Brăila and in 2007 he was awarded the Special Jury Prize during the same competition. He also received the Second Prize at the Festival of Romanian Lied Performance in Braşov. He made his debut at the Bucharest National Opera House with the role of Monterone in “Rigoletto” by Giuseppe Verdi and over the years he has also collaborated with the Romanian National Opera in Cluj-Napoca and with the “George Enescu” Philharmonic in Bucharest.
