The opera “La forza del destino” is an emotionally and efficiently meaningful narrative about the love between Leonora, representative of an ancient Spanish aristocratic family, and the metis Alvaro. The impossibility of happiness is present through a series of events and troubles for the two lovers, who become more and more alienated, until they succeed to find each other at the very end of the opera, but just to part again, this time forever.

The work is multilayer, it treats not only the impossible love, but also the problems of murder, oath, downtrodden family honour.
