ОБЩ ПРАВИЛНИК

ЧЛ. 1

Конкурсът АзЛиКо за млади оперни певци се провежда в два раздела: за роли в оперите, които ще се представят в рамките на традиционния сезон 2017/18 на Опера Ломбардия и на проекта Опера домани (Раздел A); за нови гласове, които ще участват в дейността на АзЛиКо  , като Фестивалът на на Комо Град на Музиката, Покет  Опера, Опера Едюкейшън, оперно-симфоничните концерти (Раздел Б).

В конкурса могат да участват мъже и жени, които към  1 януари 2017 г. не са навършили 32 години (Раздел А ) и мъже и жени от всякаква националност, които към 1 януари 2017 г. не са навършили 28 години (раздел Б). В момента на вписване певецът трябва да избере за кой раздел възнамерява да яви.

Конкурсът е структуриран на два етапа:

Предварителен подбор, който ще се извърши в Италия и в чужбина;

Подбор (елиминации, полуфинал и финал), който ще се извърши в Театро Сочале на Комо от 5 до 8 януари 2017 г. До Селекциите ще бъдат допуснати само онези, които са преминали предварителния подбор.  

ЧЛ. 2

Датите на Предварителните подбори ще бъдат съобщени в последствие

Кандидатите ще бъдат своевременно уведомени за мястото, деня и часа на предварителния подбор. В случай, че броят на записаните на даден предварителен подбор е по-малък от 10, кандидатите могат да бъдат извикани за някое от другите предвидени изслушвания.  

ЧЛ. 3

След предварителния подбор, Селекциите, разделени на три етапа, ще стават в Комо при следния график: Елиминации, 5 и 6 януари 2017 г.

Полуфинал, 7 януари 2017 г.

Финал, 8 януари 2017

Допуснатите до Селекциите кандидати трябва да се явят на 5 януари 2017 г. в час 10,30 при Театро Сочале, ул. Белини 3, Комо.

Конкурсът ще започне с операции по изтегляне по азбучен ред, което ще определи реда на повикване на елиминиращата репетиция. Комисията ще съобщи на кандидатите своите решения в края на всяка една от трите репетиции на Конкурса: Елиминации, Полуфинал и Финал. Полуфиналните и финалните репетиции са открити за публика. Комисията може да отсъди повече от един победител за всяка една роля в Конкурса и има право да обяви „почетни” певци. Решението на Комисията е окончателно.

НАЧИН НА ЗАПИСВАНЕ

ЧЛ. 4

Кандидатът трябва да попълни и да подпише формуляра за записване и да го снабди със следните приложения:

a) копие на личен документ

b) подробна артистична автобиография

c) доказателство за внасянето на 70 ЕВРО.

Внасянето на таксата за записване се счита за валидно към момента за записван, ако е извършено по някой от следните начини:

a) банков чек непрехвърляем на името на: АзЛиКо

b) плащане он-лайн с кредитна карта (aslico.org)

„АзЛиКо” няма да уважи молбите, към които липсва изискваната документация и си запазва правото поиска потвърждение относно автентичността на копията на приложените документи, като провери истинността на декларираните факти.

На всички финалисти ще се признае обща сума за възстановяване в размер на 150 ЕВРО за разходите за настаняване.

ЖУРИ НА КОНКУРСА

ЧЛ. 5

Комисията на журито на конкурса по правило се състои от двама представителя на АзЛиКо, един посочен от Фондацията на Операта Ла Скала, един от оперите на област Ломбардия и от членове от международния музикален свят. Измежду тях АзЛиКо ще назначи Председател. Освен това АзЛиКо ще може да посочи един или повече допълнителни членове в случай, че някой от вече избраните членове не може да участва в някой от етапите на Конкурса. Допълнителните членове могат да бъдат свободно избрани от АзЛиКо без да се държи сметка за тяхната принадлежност към някоя от горепосочените институции.

ПРОГРАМА И ПРОВЕЖДАНЕ НА КОНКУРСА

ЧЛ. 6

Кандидатите трябва да представят цялата програма наизуст и в оригиналния език. Евентуални промени на програмата могат да бъдат съобщени писмено преди предварителния подбор.

Раздел А  – Конкурс за роли

Изпълнителят трябва да избере за коя/и роля/и се явява измежду оперите на конкурса. Всеки кандидат може да се представи за не повече от две роли, дори и да принадлежат към различни опери на конкурса.

ПРОГРАМА

Кандидатът трябва да представи:

a) цялата избрана роля от оперите на Конкурса (Приложение А).

b) четири арии, сред които поне две да са измежду посочените в Приложение Б. Ариите не трябва да принадлежат на оперите от Конкурса, за които е явяването.  

Раздел Б – Конкурс за изгряващи певци

Певецът трябва да представи арии, които да подчертаят неговите техническо-вокални интерпретативни способности.

ПРОГРАМА

a) пет арии, от които поне две измежду посочените в Приложение Б.

ЧЛ. 7

При предварителния подбор кандидатът трябва да изпълни едно или две песни, предвидени в програмата, от които едно по негов избор. При следващите етапи на Конкурса, кандидатът трябва да изпее едно или повече песни по избор на Комисията. Допуснатите кандидати до Финала освен това ще имат опознавателно интервю с Комисията.

ЧЛ. 8

При всички репетиции на Конкурса на състезателите ще им акомпанира на пиано маестро сътрудник, избран от АзЛиКо.

ЧЛ.. 9

На Конкурса могат да се явят  също така и певци победители, избрани и финалисти от предходни издания на Конкурса АзЛиКо. Те ще бъдат директно допуснати на Елиминациите.

ПОБЕДИТЕЛИ И ПОЧЕТНИ

ЧЛ. 10

Раздел A

Победителите са длъжни да посещават подготвителните курсове и тези за усъвършенстване, насочени към подготовката на оперите от традиционния оперен сезон на оперите на Опера Ломбардия и на проекта Опера домани. Победителите се задължават да поддържат съответните роли в рамките на изготвянето на оперите и да не ги показват преди програмираните представления в сезон 2017/18.

Журито може да присъди титлата „почетен” на кандидатите, които са показали добро техническо и интерпретативно общо ниво, макар не съвсем съответстващо на ролята на конкурса. Отсъдените като „почетни” кандидати могат да бъдат поканени да участват в подготвителните курсове и тези за усъвършенстване и след предварителна проверка от страна на АзЛиКо могат да участват в музикалните дейности на АзЛиКо.

Раздел Б

Победителите са длъжни да посещават подготвителните курсове и тези за усъвършенстване и, след предварителна проверка от страна на АзЛиКо могат да участват в музикалните дейности на АзЛиКо: Фестивал Комо Град на Музиката, Покет Опера, Опера Едюкейшън, оперно-симфонични концерти, както и други роли в есенния оперен сезон.

КУРСОВЕ И АРТИСТИЧНА ДЕЙНОСТ

ЧЛ. 11

АзЛиКо ще организира свои курсове, подготвителни и за усъвършенстване, насочени към продукциите, които  ще се състоят в Театро Сочале ди Комо в следните периоди :

от 16 януари до 11 февруари 2017 г. (Опера Домани)

от 3 април до 28 юли 2017 г.

от 28 август до 30 ноември 2017 г.

и дейности по продукции в следните периоди:

от 13 февруари до 6 юни 2017 г. (Опера домани)

от 10 юни до 20 юли 2017 г. (Фестивал Комо Град на Музиката)

от 1 септември 2017 до 30 януари 2018 г. (ОпераЛомбардия)

от 1декември 2017до 30 май 2018 (Покет Опера)

Неспазването на задължението да се поддържат ролите в рамките на посочените продукции и да се участва в курсовете води до признаването в полза на АзЛиКо на една договорена неустойка равна на 50% от уговорените възнаграждения за периода на курсовете и за продукциите, освен ако няма по-голяма щета.

ЧЛ. 12

На всички победители и почетни изпълнители, поканени да участват в курсовете, ще им бъде отпусната стипендия за обучение в размер на 300,00 ЕВРО нето за всяка седмица за посещение на курсовете. Правото на получаване на стипендия е обвързано с редовното участие на курсовете,  които е задължително да се посещават.

На победителите и на почетните изпълнители, ангажирани в ролите на програмираните опери за оперния сезон се заплаща допълнително възнаграждение в размер на:

5.000,00 ЕВРО бруто за продукция, включена в рамките на Проекта Опера домани съответно за турнето от февруари до юни;

6.000,00 ЕВРО бруто за всяка есенна продукция от есенния традиционен оперен сезон.

Възнагражденията на победителите на Раздел Б ще са в съответствие с реалното участие в дейността на АзЛиКо и ще бъдат уточнени в последствие.

Няма да се дължи нищо за победителя, който ще изпълнява в една и съща опера други роли и заместване, различно от ролята победител. В случай на участие в продукции на есенния оперен сезон на победителите от Раздел Б ще бъдат заплатени същите възнаграждения както на победителите от Раздел А.

Към посочените възнаграждения ще се приложат данъчните и осигурителни удръжки, предвидени по закон.

За продукция на Опера домани АзЛиКо поема настаняването на победителите и на почетните изпълнители дейността, която ще се извършва извън общините на Милано и Комо. За есенните продукции АзЛиКо поема настаняването на победителите и на почтените изпълнители за дейността, която ще се извършва извън Ломбардия.

ЧЛ. 13

АзЛиКо си запазва правото да възобнови, запише и излъчи полуфиналната и финалната репетиции и представления на продукциите на АзЛиКо без да дължи възнаграждение на участниците.

ЧЛ. 14

АзЛиКо може да попълни ролите, които не са покрити с почетни изпълнители от Раздел А, както и с победители от Раздел Б, с победители от предходни конкурси АзЛиКо, с ученици на Центровете по усъвършенстване за оперни певци от други международни музикални институции, с победители от Конкурси, осъществени в рамките на ЕС, с участници, подбрани при прослушвания, организирани от самата АзЛиКо.

ЧЛ. 15

Настоящият правилник се отнася и за двата раздела, ако не е уточнено друго.

Правилникът на Конкурса има законова сила в текста си на италиански език. В случай на спорове относно Правилника компетентен съд е този на Милано.

Според чл. 10, I алинея на закон от 31/12/96 № 675 личните данни на кандидатите се събират от АзЛиКо за нуждите на управлението на Конкурса. Заинтересованото лице има права по чл. 13 на посочения закон.

GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

ART. 1

The AsLiCo Competition for Young Opera Singers is divided into two sections: for roles of the operas produced within the traditional 2017/18 opera season of the theatres members of OperaLombardia and Opera domani project (Section A); for emerging voices, that will take part in the activities of AsLiCo, such as Festival Como Città della Musica, Pocket Opera, Opera Education, vocal-symphonic concerts (Section B).

The Competition is open to European men and women  that as of January 1, 2017  are under  the age of 32 (Section A) and to men and women  of any nationality that as of January 1, 2017  are under  the age of of 28 (Section B). When applying, contestants must decide in which section they want to take part in the Competition.

The Competition is structured in two stages:

Preselection auditions, that will take place in Italy and around Europe;

Selection auditions (Eliminations, Semi-Finals and Finals) that will be held at Teatro Sociale of Como from January 5 -8 2017. To proceed to the Selection phase of the Competition, all contestants must first pass the Preselection stage.

ART. 2

The schedule of Preselections all be announced successively.

Candidates will be informed in a timely fashion where, when, and at what time they should present themselves for their Preselection audition. Should fewer than 10 candidates register for any one of the Preselection audition sites, these candidates may be asked to attend one of the other scheduled Preselection venues.

ART. 3

After Preselections, the Selections, divided in three rounds, will take place in Como, as follows: Eliminations, 5th  and 6th January 2017

Semi-Finals, 7th  January 2017

Finals, 8th  January 2017

The candidates selected to advance to the Selections must present themselves on January 5th, 2017 at 10:30 at Teatro Sociale, via Bellini 3, Como.

The Competition will begin with an alphabetical lottery deciding the order of call for the Elimination Round. The panel of judges will inform candidates of their decisions at the end of each of the three competition rounds: Eliminations, Semi-Finals and Finals. Semi-Finals and Finals are public. The Panel of Judges may declare more than one winner for each role in the competition. The Panel of Judges may also declare candidates as ‘honourable-mention’ awardees. The decisions of the Panel of Judges is binding.

REGISTRATION

ART. 4

The Application Form must be completed legibly and in full and must be signed by the candidate. A valid application form must be accompanied by the following documents:

a) Copy of a valid identification document b) Detailed professional curriculum

c) Registration fee of 70 Euro.

AsLiCo has the right to waive the issue of privacy of the documentation requested and will only consider applications submitted with all requested sup- porting materials. AsLiCo reserves the right to request confirmation of authenticity of the copies of documents attached to the application form and to verify the validity of the documentation.

All finalists will be refunded of a lump sum of 150 Euro for accommodation expenses

PANEL OF JUDGES FOR THE COMPETITION

ART. 5

The Panel of Judges for the Competition will be comprised of two representatives from AsLiCo, one suggested by Fondazione Teatro alla Scala, one from the theatres belonging to OperaLombardia and from international music experts. AsLiCo will nominate one of the above mentioned representatives as Chairman. AsLiCo may appoint one or more substitute members in the event that one or more of the designated members are unable to attend a stage of the Competition. AsLiCo may freely nominate substitute members, without taking into account the substituted representative’s membership in any of the aforementioned organizations.

PROGRAMME AND COMPETITION PROCEDURES

ART. 6

The entire programme must be sung by memory and in the original language. Any changes in the programme presented must be communicated to

AsLiCo in writing prior to the Preselection audition.

Section A – Competition for opera roles

All candidates must choose for which role/s they are auditioning. Each candidate may audition for no more than two roles, even if these roles are in dif- ferent operas.

PROGRAMME

All candidates must present:

a) the complete role of the operas chosen in the Competition (see Schedule A).

b) four arias, at least two of which chosen from the list in Schedule B. The arias should not be taken from the operas in the competition for which the candidates are presenting themselves.

Section B – Competition for emerging voices

All candidates must present arias that showcase their technical, vocal and performing qualities.

PROGRAMME

All candidates must present:

a) five arias, at least two of which chosen from the list in Schedule B.

ART. 7

At the Preselection audition, the candidate will perform one or more arias from their chosen list of repertoire. During the later phases of the Competition, candidates will perform one or more arias as selected by the Panel of Judges. All candidates progressing to the Final Stage will attend an interview with members of the Jury.

ART. 8

At all stages of the Competition, candidates will be accompanied by a pianist appointed by AsLiCo.

ART. 9

Past winners, honourable-mention awardees, and finalists from previous competitions organized by AsLiCo may take part in the Competition. They will be admitted directly to the Eliminations.

WINNERS AND HONOURABLE MENTION

ART. 10

Section A

The winners are required to attend both training courses and preparatory courses for all scheduled operas. The winners will then perform their chosen roles in productions of the operas promoted by OperaLombardia and within Opera domani project. All winners chosen to perform one or more roles during the 2017/18 season are obligated to premiere that chosen role with OperaLombardia.

The Jury may grant an ‘honourable-mention’ award to those participants who demonstrate outstanding potential in terms of technique and performing ability. This award may not necessarily correspond to the performance of the role auditioned for in the competition. Those candidates awarded ‘hon- ourable-mention’ may be invited to attend the preparatory courses and may, after further examination by AsLiCo, take part in the musical activities pro- grammed by AsLiCo.

Section B

The winners are required to attend both training courses and preparatory courses and may, after further examination by AsLiCo, take part in the musical activities programmed by AsLiCo: Festival Como Città della Musica, Pocket Opera, Opera Education, vocal-symphonic concerts, as well as other roles in the autumn opera season.

COURSES AND ARTISTIC ACTIVITIES

ART. 11

AsLiCo will provide training and opera preparation courses at Teatro Sociale di Como on the following dates and times:

from 16th  January to 11th  February 2017 (Opera domani)

from 3rd April to 28th  July 2017

from 28th  August to 30th  November 2017

The productions are scheduled for the following dates:

from 13th  February to 6th  June 2017 (Opera domani)

from 10th  June to 20th  July 2017 (Festival Como Città della Musica) from 1st September 2017 to 30th  January 2018 (OperaLombardia) from 1st December 2016 to 30th  May 2018 (Pocket Opera)

Failure to participate in all courses and contracted opera productions will result in a penalty payable to AsLiCo of 50% of the total of the awarded study- grant as well as compensation for any additional loss sustained.

ART. 12

All winners and ‘honourable-mention’ awardees will receive a study-grant of 300.00  Euro net for each week that they attend the training courses. The right to this grant is dependent upon regular attendance at all preparatory courses deemed obligatory by AsLiCo.

In addition to the above-mentioned remuneration, singers involved in the operas programmed  in the opera season will receive payment for roles per- formed, as follows:

5.000,00 Euro gross for participation in the Opera domani project production, as to the February-June tour;

6.000,00 Euro gross for performances of the role won in the competition in all Fall productions.

Remuneration of the winners of Section B will be proportioned to the real participation in AsLiCo activities and will be defined later on. In case of par- ticipation to the Fall Opera Season, winners of Section B will receive the same remuneration of winners of Section A.

No payment is received by the performer if she/he performs  or covers multiple roles within the same opera differing from the role won. The above amounts will be subject to tax and social security deductions in accordance with the law.

For the Opera domani production, AsLiCo will provide lodging for winners and ‘honourable-mention’ awardees for any performances held outside the provinces of Milan and Como. For the Fall productions, AsLiCo will provide lodging to winners and ‘honourable-mention’ awardees for any performances held outside Lombardy.

ART. 13

AsLiCo reserves the right to film, record, and broadcast the Semi-Final and Final stages of the Competition as well as all performances included in the competition without payment to the participants.

ART. 14

AsLiCo may fill roles left uncast with ‘honourable-mention’ awardees of Section A, as well as with winners of Section B or of previous AsLiCo competitions, with students at specialized centres for opera singers in other international music Institutes, with winners of competitions held under the auspices of the EU, and with individuals chosen at auditions organized by AsLiCo itself.

ART. 15

All requirements outlined in the Rules and Regulations are valid for both Sections A and B, unless otherwise stated.

The regulations for the Competition shall be legally binding in the Italian language version. Any disputes regarding these regulations shall be brought before the Court of Milan. Pursuant to Article 10, sub-section 1 of Law no.675 of 31/12/96, the personal details supplied by the candidates shall be collected by AsLiCo for the purpose of running the Competition. All interested parties shall be entitled to the rights specified in Article 13 of the aforesaid law.

All candidates taking part in the Competition must present four arias (Sez. A) and five arias (Sez. B) of their choice, at least two of which must be taken from the following list:
