Five spectacles of “The Nutcracker” will watch the spectators in Messina, Sicily Island
The Ballet company of the Sofia Opera and Ballet left this morning for Messina, Italy, where it will present in five spectacles the classical work by Pyotr Tchaikovsky “The Nutcracker“. The premier soloists Marta Petkova and Tsetso Ivanov will alternate with their colleagues from the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow before the audience of Teatro Vittorio Emanuele on the Sicily Island. Grigor Palikarov will conduct the theatre‘s orchestra.
The guest-performance of our first ballet company is expected with great interest by the Italian admirers of Terpsichore. More than a month ago were sold all the tickets for the spectacles from 17 to 20 December.
Less than a week after the return of our ballet artists from Italy on 26 and 27 December, forthcoming are four spectacles of “The Nutcracker” in the frames of the Christmas in the Sofia Opera Festival.
