Endrik Wottich was born in Celle, Germany, and studied the violin and singing, the latter in Würzburg and after that he finished his studies in Julliard School in New York.
Daniel Barenboim invited the young tenor to sing in Berlin Staatsoper Unter den Linden in 1993. Since then Wottrich has been frequent and welcomed guest in leading international festivals, opera stages and concert halls, among which Carnegie Hall, La Scala di Milano, where he sang Tannhäuser and other roles, Wiener Staatsoper, Volksoper Wien, London Royal Opera House, Bayreuther Festspiele, Nationaltheater in Münich, New National Theatre Tokyo, Montreal Opera and Semperoper Dresden.
Since 2005, Endrik Wottich is professor at the Music Academy in Würzburg. He conducted classe at the St. Petersburg Tchaikovsky Music Academy. He also gives recitals with his pianist Semion Skigin.
Many recordings and radio broadcasts with Abbado, Barenboim, Muti, Mehta, Thielemann, Pappano and others furnish evidence of his artistic career.
