Coming on the 15th of December at 19.00 is the long-expected for the Sofia National Opera and Ballet premiere of the only opera by Ludwig van Beethoven - "Fidelio".
Soloists: Dimitar Stanchev (Don Fernando), Biser Georgiev (Don Pizarro), Daniel Damyanov (Florestan), Mariana Zvetkova (Leonore), Svetozar Rangelov (Rocco), Silvana Pravcheva (Marzelline) Krasimir Dinev (Jaquino), Nikolay Ivanov (First prisoner), Anton Radev (Second prisoner).
At the premiere on the 15th of December in the role of Rocco the audience will have the opportunity to hear the famous Austrian bass Kurt Rydl. On the same date the audience will hear Endrik Wottrich as Florestan.
With the special participation of the actor Marius Donkin as the narrator.
The conductor of the performance is Grigor Palikarov, director of the production is Hans-Joachim Frey, the scenography is by Pavlina Kotseva and chorus master is Violeta Dimitrova.
