With 30 photos the ballet dancer Svetoslav Nikolov will mark the International Dance Day – 29 April
30 colour and black-and-white photos, entitled "The ballet from within" will arrange in the central foyer of Sofia Opera the well-known with his photographic skills member of the ballet company of the theatre Svetoslav Nikolov. The occasion is the International Dance Day – 29 April, when at 11.00 h, will be opened his exhibition. For the first time the admirers of Terpsichore will steal a glance behind the curtain of the first tour of the National Ballet in Great Britain in summer 2013. Then the English audience saw in 34 spectacles of the classic ballets "Swan Lake", "Don Quixote" and "Giselle" the premier soloists and the ensemble of Sofia Opera and Ballet.
The glance "from within" at this tour of Svetoslav Nikolov reveals not only moments from the spectacles, but also from rehearsals, moments of rest, in the dressing-room, in front of the mirror. At the opening of the photography exhibition will be present pupils of the National School of Dance Art – future successors of the stars of today, heroes of the exhibition.
On the same evening at 19.00 h Sofia Opera and Ballet has prepared for the admirers of classical dance the spectacle "Don Quixote" after music by Ludwig Minkus.
