Maria Pavlova was born in 1989 in Veliko Tarnovo. In 2012 she graduated in opera singing at the National Academy of Music “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov”, Sofia, in the class of Prof. Velizara Karayankova, and in 2014 she specialized in chamber singing with Prof. Boryana Lambreva.
In 2016 she was a soloist of the “Konstantin Kisimov” Music and Drama Theatre in Veliko Tarnovo.
From 2017 to 2024 she was a soloist of the Varna State Opera, where she made her debuts in leading roles in the genres of opera, musical and operetta.
Since September 2024 she has been a soloist of the Sofia Opera and Ballet.
She has participated in numerous concerts in Bulgaria and abroad. In 2022 she won a Special Prize at the “Concorso internazionale – European Opera” competition, Turin.
The soprano has participated in master classes with Irene Tortora, Krasimira Stoyanova, Emil Ivanov, Larisa Gergieva, Ana Tomowa-Sintow, Fiorenza Cosotto.
