- 1956-1962 Studies in ballet and dance pedagogy at the Roleff-King Ballet School, Munich, Mannheim University of Music and Dance and with Nora Kiss and Victor Gsovsky, Paris
- 1962-1973 Engagements at the Mannheim National Theatre, Stuttgart Ballet under John Cranko and Frankfurt Ballet under John Neumeier
- 1973-1977 Teacher at the John Cranko Academy Stuttgart
- 1977-1992 Ballet director and chief choreographer at the Heidelberg Theatre, Ulm Theatre, Krefeld-Mönchengladbach Theatre
- 1992-2006 Ballet director and chief choreographer, Magdeburg Theatre. 1993-2014 Director of the Magdeburg Theatre Ballet School
- Work as a freelance choreographer at the Lucerne Theatre, Switzerland, Rostock Theatre, Kiel Theatre, Giessen Theatre, Fukuj and Kanazawa, Japan, Brasilia, Brazil, Sofia, Bulgaria and Vancouver, Canada
