Biography
Joonmo Park is a Korean bass, who graduated from the Yeungnam University, majoring in Vocal Music. He is currently enrolled in a master’s degree at the same department, and in 2023 he has been elected by the Daegu Opera House Opern Studio Program as an associate singer.
He performed various roles on stage, starting from La Bohème’s Colline in 2018 and Dulcamara from L’elisir d’amore, both being projects of the Yeungnam University Opera Academy, but before that, since 2014, he performed minor roles or as a choir member in the Daegu Opera House, in operas such as Turandot and Il Barbiere di Siviglia.
As a performer, he got recognition for his skills in multiple competitions. He was awarded in the Keimyung University Competition in 2013, he placed 2nd in the 2020 Daegu Music Association Competition, he got 3rd place in the 2021 KPCS Competition, and most recently, he got awarded in 2023 Dream Vocal Music Competition.
