Daniel Damyanov

Biography

Daniel Damyanov graduated in Orthodox Theology at the University of Veliko Tarnovo "St.St. Cyril and Methodius". He studied opera singing as a private student with Stoyan Kissov and Kostadinka Nikolova.

In 2007, he started working as a soloist of the Ruse Opera, he took part in opera performances in Sofia, Varna, Burgas, Stara Zagora, Plovdiv.

His repertoire includes the parts of: Cavaradossi in "Tosca"; Don Alvaro in "La Forza del Destino"; the Duke of Mantua in "Rigoletto"; Calàf in "Turandot"; Don José in "Carmen"; des Grieux in "Manon Lescaut"; Radamès in "Aida"; Canio in "Pagliacci"; Manrico in "Il Trovatore"; Macduff in "Macbeth", Verdi's Requiem; Alfredo in "La Traviata"; Ismaele in "Nabucco", Foresto in "Attila"; Otello in "Otello"; Don Carlo in "Don Carlo".
