Aleksandrina Mihailova was born on 10.04.1998 in Shumen. At the age of 7 she started to play the piano at the United School of Arts "Anastas Stoyanov" with pedagogue Zdravka Hristova. She participated in a number of concerts and competitions as a pianist. She was also a long-time choir member in the children's choir "Bodra Pesen". At the age of 14 she started to sing opera at the United School of Arts "Anastas Stoyanov" with teacher Nedka Telbizova. Soon she began to perform at concerts and competitions. She won a number of competitions including the VIVAVOCE 2015 competition named after Ghena Dimitrova in Sofia, where she won the special prize and first place at the International Franz Schubert Competition in Ruse in 2014. He has participated in numerous concerts with the Shumen Symphony Orchestra.
In 2016 she auditioned for the master class of the prima Raina Kabaivanska in Sofia. The Maestra noticed her and took her to her master class, but since Aleksandrina has not yet finished school and didn’t yet know Italian she could not go to Italy. In 2017 she took part in the master class again, already graduated from school and with knowledge of Italian, whereupon the Maestra gave her a scholarship to study in her master class in Modena. Until 2021, Aleksandrina was a scholarship holder of the Raina Kabaivanska Fund and part of the Prima's masterclass, as well as a student at the Vecchi-Tonelli Music Institute in Modena. She participated in concerts as part of the master class in many cities such as Sofia, Burgas, Modena, Varese, Mirandola. In 2019, she took part in the International Competition for Opera Singers "Ghena Dimitrova", where she won Second prize. The same year she performed Musetta together with other scholarship students of the master class, presenting scenes from Puccini's opera "La bohème" in the theatre of the Verona Philharmonic.
In May 2021 she appeared at the Etta and Paolo Limiti International Opera Competition in Milan, where she won three prizes – First Prize, the prize for the youngest talent and the Vota la voce prize for a concert in Sicily with the tenor Giuseppe Infantino. The concert took place in February 2022.
On 12 October she took part in the Gala concert for Luciano Pavarotti at the Teatro Comunale Pavarotti-frame in Modena.
From 14 to 16 July 2021, she auditioned in three stages for the new class 2021/23 of the Accademia della Scala and managed to be among the ten participants in the new class and to have the opportunity to be trained by prominent faces of opera such as Luciana D’Intino, Pietro Spagnoli, Gregory Kunde, Vincenzo Scalera and others.
In early December 2021 came the big debut on the stage of the National Opera and Ballet in the opera "Turandot" by Giacomo Puccini, playing the role of Liù.
As a La Scala Academy scholarship recipient, on May 9 she took part in the concert "All to the Opera, (children)!" on the stage of Teatro La Scala with the rest of the Academy's class, and in September 2022 made her debut at Teatro La Scala in Cimarosa's opera "Il matrimonio segreto" as Carolina and in October of the same year again at Teatro La Scala debuted as the Little Prince in the new opera for children "Il piccolo principe" specially composed by Pierangelo Valtinoni for the theatre.
