PROGRAMME:
11:00 h – start of the event – welcome in the Central Foyer of the Sofia Opera
Brief introduction to the works of Richard Wagner and curious facts from his life; details about the preparations for the upcoming premiere of LOENGRIN and the creation of the new production of DER RING DES NIBELUNGEN
11:20 h – visiting the stage, meeting the artists and the production team, following a rehearsal
12:15 h – stage make-up demonstration /on the soloists' floor/ – preparation of the specific make-up for the characters in the operas – meeting with the leading make-up artists of the Sofia Opera
13:30 h – end of the event

The event is aimed at students from the Sofia University, Pancho Vladigerov Academy of Music, Academy of Arts, New Bulgarian University, University of National and World Economy, Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts – Plovdiv, as well as all those interested in the works of Richard Wagner and the productions of Wagner's operas at the Sofia Opera.
