All little children love the adventures and the journeys in unknown worlds.
“Shegobishko on the Wonder Island” is a wise fairy-tale about the friendship and the unusual adventures of one inquisitive child, who loves travelling. Before the eyes of the little spectators will come to life exotic pictures from a distant island, on which happen miracles. The characters are savages, robbers and a little boy – Shegobishko.
Shegobishko, together with the three robbers Igu, Tsigu, Migu, find themselves on the Wonder Island. There reigns Kokoso Lights a Pipe, whose father – the great seafarer and noble pirate Maharaja Moluk Bey, has buried all his treasure somewhere on the island. The disguised like seafarers Igu, Tsigu and Migu discover the casket in the jungle. Exactly in this moment, Shegobishko and his native little friend Okey Okay see them and succeed to take surreptitiously the treasure. After many troubles, the robbers are caught and left on the island for punishment. Shegobishko sets off for his homeland together with Okey Okay. Both children have become inseparable friends. Already on the high seas, they take out the casket, but the treasure of the great pirate Moluk Bey turns out to be several priceless words, written on a piece of old deerskin. And which are they know only our artists, who will share them only with those little spectators, who visit the spectacles on the Small stage of the Sofia Opera.
