At a solemn ceremony held in the courtyard of the church museum "St. Dimitar of Thessaloniki", the Vice-Rector for International Activities of the Veliko Tarnovo University, Prof. Dimitar Dimitrov, awarded the prize "Sword of Asenevtsi" to Acad. Plamen Kartaloff, the university announced.
The prize was awarded to Acad. Kartaloff for his overall work and for raising the spirituality of the Bulgarian people. It was established by the Community Committee "Asenevtsi" and was handed out for the second consecutive year, and with it will be distinguished Bulgarians and foreigners who have made special contributions to Bulgaria.
