The opera singer debuted at the Sofia Opera and Ballet in 2021 as Liu in “Turandot” by Puccini
In 2023, she debuted in “La Boheme” by Giacomo Puccini” as Musetta.
In 2022, she debuted at La Scala in Milan in the main role in “The Little Prince” opera by Pierangelo Valtinoni.
Soprano Alexandrina Mihaylova is one of Raina Kabaivanska’s favorite students. Mihaylova auditioned at the great Bulgarian opera singer in 2016.
In 2013, she won first place at the international “Franz Schubert” contest in Rousse and took part in a laureates concert at the Wittgenstein House in Vienna, in 2014.
A year later, she won the special “Gena Dimitrova” award at the Viva voce contest in Sofia as well as the best young singer award at the “Otto Edelman” contest in Vienna.
Alexandrina Mihaylova has participated in many concerts in Bulgaria. At twenty years old, she was invited to take part in the “Raina Kabaivanska’s Tenors” concert. She was awarded scholarships by the Sofia municipality and the “America for Bulgaria” foundation thanks to which she continued her education under the guidance of Raina Kabaivanska.
In 2017, she participated in the Maestra’s 17th master class and won the grand scholarship of the “Raina Kabaivanska” fund (with the support of the “America for Bulgaria foundations) granting her education at the “Vecchi – Tonelli” Musical institute in Modena, Italy.
This year, she again won a scholarship granting her further personal education from Raina Kabaivanska. “Studying under a teacher such as Maestra Kabaivanska is never enough. Even if I work ten, twenty years with her, it would still not be enough”, the opera singer commented.
