The Sofia Opera will take part in celebrating the world opera day, this year dedicated to the Italian opera.

Tonight, at 9pm on Facebook and website of Sopfia Opera, we offer to your attention a concert consisting of specially selected arias, duets and ensembles from Sofia Opera performances throughout the years –

“An adventure through time with the Sofia Opera. The magic of the past, present and future”.

We're going to take a trip through time with performances by Nicolai Ghiaurov, Ghena Dimitrova, Raina Kabaivanska, Nicola Ghiuselev, Vladimir Stoyanov, Kaludi Kaludov, Tsvetelina Vassileva, Sonya Yoncheva, Martin Iliev, Gabriela Georgieva, Stoyan Popov, Rumen Doykov, Jivko Pranchev, Kostadin Andreev, Radostina Nikolaeva, Kiril Manolov, Stanislava Momelova, Daniel Damyanov, Tsvetana Bandalovska.

We have selected documentary recordings of performances that entered the history of the Sofia Opera, conducted by Georgi Notev, Boris Hinchev, Adam Fisher, Mikhail Sinkevich, Alessandro Sangiorgi, Zhorzh Dimitrovq Francesco Rosa.

The directors of the productions are Plamen Kartaloff, Vera Petrova, Hugo de Anna, Petar Shtarbanov, Nina Naydenova, Boyko Bogdanov.
