On 20, 21, 22 October and 12 November, the character born from the pen of Nikos Kazantzakis will come to life, untouched by time, in the ballet "Zorba the Greek".

In 1964, renowned Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis wrote the music for Michael Cacoyannis' film of the same name, with the participation of Anthony Quinn as Zorba. 24 years later, the immortal idea of the power of the human spirit to bring back the joy of life and overcome grief through dance was translated into dance language by choreographer Lorca Massine.

The blend of classical, folkloric and modern dance in Lorca Massine's choreography and the combination of symphonic with traditional Greek folk music by Mikis Theodorakis form a spectacle of incredible power.
