She is a scholarship holder of the Raina Kabaivanska Fund at NBU.

Vittoria Yeo is one of the brightest stars of the Kabaivanska School. The South Korean soprano has participated in the master classes of Raina Kabaivanska at the Chigiana Academy in Siena, the Vecchi-Tonelli Music Institute in Modena and the New Bulgarian University. Vittoria Yeo is also a scholarship holder of the Raina Kabaivanska Fund at the NBU.

"Raina Kabaivanska is like a mother to me because I come from far away and I was completely alone in Italy. Her role in my life is so important that I take her as my own mother who takes care of me. To this day, I consult her before I go on stage," says Yeo, who is well known on the world opera stage. She met Kabaivanska while she was a student in Italy. It was then that Raina Kabaivanska personally invited her for her masterclass in Sofia.

"It was the most important moment of my life because she is not only an extraordinary person, but also a world star in the field of opera. I was very lucky," says Yeo.
