A full hall welcomed the troupe of the Sofia Opera at the Cankarjev dom in Ljubljana for the opening of the First international festival “Dance Nights” in the Slovenian capital. Conducted by Martin Panteleev, the soloists of the national ballet enchanted the audience with the ballet “Don Quixote” by Ludwig Minkus.

Marta Petkova, Nikola Hadjitanev, Katerina Petrova, Tsetso Ivanov, Venera Hristova, Kristina Chochanova received unceasing applause after the end of the performance.

Special guest of the event was Rada Nikolova, Ambassador of Bulgaria to Slovenia.

Congratulatory addresses were received from the Mayor of Sofia Yordanka Fandakova and the Mayor of Ljubljana Zoran Janković.
