Watch the super production of the Sofia Opera and BNT "Der fliegende Holländer" by Richard Wagner on 1 October, on the occasion of the World Music Day at 17:00 on the Bulgarian National Television. The performance had its premiere on Lake Pancharevo in July.

DER FLIEGENDE HOLLÄNDER is Richard Wagner's most popular and most frequently staged opera. This work is one of the crowning achievements of German Romantic opera, in which the inner world of the characters and their drama is revealed with deep insight. All feelings and moods are expressed in a brilliant orchestral score and in the balladic character and drama of the action.

In the lead roles are Kurt Rydl, Markus Marquardt, Radostina Nikolaeva and Kostadin Andreev. Conductor Rosen Gergov, idea and direction Plamen Kartaloff.
