Close to fifty children from the “Lilia” kindergarten №81 visited the Sofia Opera today. They watched a performance of the musical “The Three Little Pigs” by Alexandar Raichev. Their teachers shared this was the first time they took the children to such an event.

After the end of the performance, the children met the artists and talked with them then everyone took a photo together. The young visitors excitedly looked at the two ballet tutus which Marta Petkova: prima ballerina and creative director of the Sofia Opera ballet had brought especially for them. Marta shared many interesting details regarding the ballet attire and showed the children basic ballet steps. Some of them were well acquainted with them from the ballet classes they take.

Finally, makeup artist Ekaterina Petkova practiced her craft on many of the children who went home with kittens, puppies and other animals painted on their faces.

In the performance starred Tsvetiana Kostova, Rada Toteva, Kalin Dushkov, Alexandra Nosikova, Kiril Ivanov, Plamen Dimov-Grandzhan and Elena Stoyanova.
