A ballet weekend is coming up on the open stage above Belogradchik in the framework of the Festival "Opera of the Peaks – Belogradchik Rocks". The fans of classical dance will have the possibility to see the ballet "One Thousand and One Nights" from 12 to 14 August including. The spectacle is from the 2021 - 2022 season.
The choreography is by Eldar Aliev, who describes his work as neoclassical with folk elements, which is exceptionally difficult in technical terms. The ballet "One Thousand and One Nights" by the Azerbaijani composer Fikret Amirov tells the story of the harsh Sultan Shahriar and the beautiful and wise Scheherazade. Night after night, the sweet-tempered Scheherazade tells Shahriar stories that show basic feminine qualities such as beauty, wisdom and kindness and gradually melt the Sultan's icy heart.
