What could we find between the notes about love, duty and forgiveness?

In the week of politic passions and scandals it is time for a conversation about the wisdom and the trials in the temple of music. What could we find between the notes about love, duty and forgiveness? In the broadcast “Offensive with Lyubo Ognyanov” talks the Director of the Sofia Opera and Ballet Academician Plamen Kartaloff.

After his words, the pandemic locked the people, but it was also opening them into a covering of the personality, and this was bringing also a relax, in which the world dissolves itself.

The difficult choice between love and duty is a theme of a big part of the operas, but actually there is no choice. Love is always sacrificed because of duty. The reason is the theme of the self-sacrifice.

According to him the Opera is a factory for unique products. 

And the spectacles in the open air were a way for restoration of the over 400-years old art in times of pandemic. 

To be opened is an absolutely new stage at Lake Pancharevo. In the summer are upcoming ca. 50 spectacles on 4 stages – opera, ballet, musical, programme for the youngest spectators in the park of the Academy of Defence. For the first time on an open stage will be presented the opera “Aida” by Giuseppe Verdi.
