Because of the state of emergency in our country, the Sofia Opera and Ballet were the next in succession affected by the COVID 19 pandemic. They cancelled a series of performances, but however, they pleased their online spectators by streaming a series of spectacles.
“Everybody has a salary, people are waiting with impatience to go back to their places, they are great professionals. This is a guarantee for enough successful summer season. We have always a summer season, so that still with the first days of the summer we shall have performances on several stages in Sofia and I hope that we shall not miss our festivals in the country too”, said the Director of the Sofia Opera and Ballet Acad. He pointed out that his main task is to meet on Tuesday everyone from the artistic teams.
“This meeting will be to explain the situation, to say that when we are in the trap of this stress and virus, we shall not give up and we have strengths. I will make no one work, if there is a fear.
