“On toes” – a project by

Dmitriy Aleksandrov

Dmitriy Aleksandrov is a programmer. He gives lectures in programming all over the world. He has visited the jungles of South America and the broad expanses of Siberia, the deserts of Africa and the North Pole. He is an active person, chained to a wheel chair. For him ballet is the airiest art, he understands perfectly that refined grace and the wonderful geometry of ballet dance is reached with hard work and devotion.

The photo exhibition is in Sofia at 57, Vasil Levski Blvd.

In his photo project “On toes”, which started in 2015, Dmitriy is trying to catch the beauty of this art with the help of the ballerinas from the Sofia Opera and Ballet and the Music Theatre. In the project take part the ballerinas Vyara Ivancheva, Elena Petrova, Katerina Slugina, Marta Petkova, Monika Daskalova, Charlotte Berard and Yulita Todorova.

The exhibition can be seen in PhotoSynthesis Café-gallery at 57, Vasil Levski Blvd. in the Capital till 11 January 2020.
