On 8 May in Bulgaria hall were handed out the traditional annual awards “Musician of the Year” for 2018.

An award for active artistic activity received the soloist of the Sofia Opera and Ballet GABRIELA GEORGIEVA for the role of Yana from “Yana’s Nine Brothers” by Lyubomir Pipkov at the Sofia Opera, for her role in “La Gioconda” by Ponchielli at the Varna Opera and for the lead role in “Turandot” by Puccini during the tour of the Sofia Opera in Japan in 2018.

The Sofia Opera congratulates GABRIELA GEORGIEVA for the high award and wishes her health and new great successes!
